# The gladiator artwork

gladios's code and documentation are under the MIT license in [LICENSE](LICENSE). The gladiator
artwork is not. That's `public/gladios.webp`, the images made from it in `website/` (`icon.png`,
`favicon.png`, `favicon.ico`, `apple-touch-icon.png` and `og.png`), and any other picture of the
gladiator.

Copyright (c) 2026 Endel Dreyer. All rights reserved, except that you may:

- show it, unmodified, on the challenge page of gladios, or of a copy of gladios you've changed,
  and redistribute it with gladios for that purpose;
- show it, unmodified, in material about gladios, such as articles, talks and videos.

Anything else needs written permission, including changing it, selling it, or using it as the
logo, mascot or icon of another project, product or service. To show your own image on the
challenge page instead, see "Making it yours" in [README.md](README.md).

The Colyseus logo in `website/` belongs to Colyseus and isn't covered by either license.
